A bunch of scarves under $25

Kim France from one of my favorite blogs, Girls of a Certain Age, is right. Scarves are expensive. Nice ones, at least.

But right up there with cardigans, scarves are the security blanket of my wardrobe (I am literally always wearing either a cardigan or a scarf) , so I know how to pick a good one. Light, soft, non-funny smelling (synthetics smell, just admit it), and above all, unique (as you’ve probably guessed, I rarely do understateds). $25 is about the most I’m willing to pay for a scarf, so here are some of my current faves…

Leopard Layer Scarf $24
XX Black & White Scarf $24
Gold Fish Scarf $24

Happy Scarf is one of my favorite places to buy scarves. Free-shipping, funky prints, and they take PayPal (an impulse shopper’s dream). All three of these are on their way to my front door as we speak.

GAP Elephant Print Scarf $29.95 (Included because there’s always a 20% off coupon floating around.)
Old Navy Polka Dot Scarf
$15.50

GAP and Old Navy are always good for a deal. I was iffy on the polka dot scarf, but the first time I wore it I got no less than a half dozen compliments. Polka dots are hot and it looks great paired with more structured military styles.

Mossimo Southwest Scarf $14.99
Mossimo Southwestern Jacquard Scarf $14.99
Mossimo Orange & Tan Scarf $14.99
Mossimo Tribal Square Scarf $14.99

Target is super into southwest style this season, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll walk out with a few of their scarfs when all you went in for was toilet paper.

Are you a scarf lover? Do you go for bold prints or solid colors?

  1. Oh my, I am OBSESSED with scarves too. In fact, another blogger and I are announcing our second nail polish + scarf swap next week. I’ll be referring people back to this post of yours for ideas 😉
