Worthy of the Week
- David Bow and Tilda Swinton?! (Although, if we’re being honest, the whole thing is pretty horrible if it wasn’t for David and Tilda being the best couple ever.)
- I want to have babies with Jennifer Lawrence.
- I’m addicted to One Kings Lane. I have three purchases on the way. Oops.
- Nine Inch Nails is touring. I saw them in Chicago four years ago and it wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought it would be. We’re all in our mid-thirties now and not so angsty. Though we still wear Docs.
- Pinkberry is finally coming to Austin!
- Snatched up two Gretchen Kelley sketches thanks to this post. I can’t wait to get them framed and hung.
- My favorite skull necklace broke. This is why you should buy two if you really love something.

I got my mom hooked, too! I bought her the same necklace for Christmas. (PS Piperlime usually has it on sale.)

I LOVE Jennifer Lawrence…so proud that she’s a hometown girl!
I get the One Kings Lane emails but have never ordered. They seem to have awesome stuff!

One Kings Lane has some REALLY expensive stuff and then some really reasonable stuff. Keep your eye on the vintage stores. I ordered some decor and everything was under $30.

I’m a fan of Fab.com
I don’t remember if you said if you found anywhere to fix your necklace. I wanted to tell you, Austin, like San Antonio, is FULL of jewelry makers! Find one on Etsy or somewhere (Google is your friend) & ask them if they can repair a necklace that broke or knows someone that can. I had a jewelry friend in SA that fixed my junk jewelry all the time. In turn, I bought a lot of her stuff just waiting around in her shop. It worked out well. Tell ‘me your a blogger & you can give em some free advertising in exchange for a repair. Handmade peeps love barters like that
Don’t go to a big name jewelry store. They’ll charge you an arm & a leg if they are willing to fix costume jewelry at all.
