Worthy of the Week
- I pack my lunch nearly every day so these reusable carryout containers would be perfection.
- Pose like a fashion blogger. The only thing missing is standing pigeon-toed.
- This dachshund umbrella would surely push me into crazy dog lady territory but cute crazy dog lady territory.
- Loving the blog Girls of a Certain Age by former Lucky editor in chief, Kim France.
- I was so close to ordering this spectacle scarf from Madewell, but I couldn’t find a coupon so I bailed on my shopping cart.
- Neon pink cap toe oxfords from Schier.
- Cannot find these leopard print Minnetonkas anywhere. And I kind of need them.
- A hedgehog cheese grater. Because, obviously.
- Crayon sculptures. Don’t you love brand new crayons? I haven’t used a crayon in eons.
- Your daily dose of cute.
What are you up to this weekend?

The hedgehog grater needs that hedgehog wine bottle stopper to go with him. They could hang out together.

I’d like the carry-out containers more if 1) they weren’t weird colors and 2) they weren’t made in China (ugh!)
Love the “Girls of a Certain Age” blog…I wonder if I am a certain age, or older. Probably older since I could never rock a pair of fuchsia capris. And I don’t like being called a girl. Girl mama yes but girl no.
Speaking of Crayons…my daughter and I are diametrically opposed when it comes to Crayons. When I got a new box of Crayons, I wanted to keep them pristine. There was no peeling, no coloring hard and ABSOLUTELY no breaking. It was quite an achievement for me to keep my box and my Crayons looking as new as possible for as long as possible. Aidan, on the other hand, knows they’re her tools so she uses them as such. She dumps them out, breaks them. peels them, shaves them, whatever is necessary to get the look she wants. It made me crazy until I started subbing in a high school art class…they do the same thing with all of their tools. So now I just go with it.

Believe it or not, I’m a total color-within-the-lines and keep-crayons-pristine kinda person. I even used to color with the crayon straight up and down so that the tip stayed flat.

The link to the hedgehog cheese grater didn’t work for me and I need to see it!
I also read Girls of a Certain Age, love it.
