Book of the Week

I just finished Days of Awe by Lauren Fox and realized that I didn’t care about a single character in the entire book. I wouldn’t say it’s a poorly written book, I did read the entire thing; it just wasn’t particularly compelling, which is quite a feat considering it’s about affairs and suicide.

Sorry I Wasn’t What You Needed by James Bailey is an absolute delight. A dark delight, but a delight nonetheless. Very Jonathan Tropper. Go read it.

Are you reading Bone Gap by Laura Ruby? We’re talking about it over on Facebook!

  1. I love Jonathan Tropper, so I am moving your James Bailey recommendation to the top of my to-read list, thanks! I’m currently really enjoying The Turner House by Angela Flournoy, it’s been engrossing from the start.
