Because of our work schedules, Mike and I only get to spend one weekend a month together (he narrowly escaped overtime during our weekend together this month), so we decided that this summer, we would make those weekends memorable.

This weekend, we took a trip down to Indianapolis for the day to enjoy lunch at Bazbeaux, shopping at Silver in the City, a snack from Just Pop In, and a walk in my old neighborhood. Of course, I forgot to take pictures until the last 15 minutes of the trip, so they are all from one of the downtown war  memorials.

Yes…we even took our dog.

Next month…Las Vegas!
