Weekend Getaway – Balmoral Park

We’re still dedicated to making the most of our weekends this summer, and even though it’s only a half hour from our house, we spent a fun evening at Balmoral Park Sunday night.
I got a chance to fiddle with my camera and we both won a superfecta and came home $60 ahead! I also Twitterbombed Balmoral all evening and didn’t get a single response. Bummer.
Fun! I’ve never seen that kind of racing before where the jockey’s aren’t actually riding the horse.

Laurie – Harness racing is all I’ve ever seen live. They only do Thoroughbread racing certain weekends.

That is really interesting. I am with Laurie, I have never heard of that style or racing.
