I was hell bent on getting a major haircut today, but before I did, I thought I should take a minute to reflect and ask Twitter what to do.

Let me just say that I was shocked that over a dozen people responded, the overwhelming majority of which called for just a trim. So, I did as Twitter said, but since I was still yearning for a change, I added some bangs.

I was then promptly asked by the next person I encountered outside of the salon when school let out for the summer.

I know I look young. I’m grateful that being a little chubby helps thwart wrinkles, but come on. High school? Just because I added some bangs?

So much for feeling good about my fresh and trendy summer style!
