Tweet-Up for coffee, tea, and dog biscuits!

EDIT: Several very generous people who cannot attend have inquired about donating. Please contact me if you would like to send a donation and I will supply my mailing address. Many thanks!

Have you ever been to a Tweet-Up? A gathering, big or small, of people who are part of the Twitter community? I haven’t. That’s why I decided to organize one!

When: Sunday, April 19th @ 3:00

Where: Spill The Beans

To Benefit: The Northwest Indiana Humane Society

This Tweet-Up is inspired by The Responsibility Project, which all began with a television commercial from Liberty Mutual several years ago showing every day people doing simple, but wonderful and compassionate things. Things people don’t think twice about doing but can really make an impact on others. Things like getting together for our Tweet-Up to make friends and help our furry friends!

If you’re interested in attending the Tweet-Up, please leave a comment with your Twitter name so we can follow you and consider joining the Facebook group! We’d appreciate everyone getting the word out about the event, so please use #nwitweetup and #icause when Twittering! You don’t even have to be a Twitter fanatic to attend. Everyone is welcome! And we’ll make you into a Twitter fanatic while you’re there.

No stealing thunder at all. :-) I think your event is spectacular. I love helping out the animals. Your event sounds great and I wish you great luck with it.
