The queen stepped out in some stylish new kicks this week. She shed her old lady pumps and wore some knee high, black leather riding boots with buckles.

The Queen’s people tried to downplay her new style, saying that they were more function than fashion, but it’s clear that the Queen is totally vamping it up. Those boots had some serious height. More height than I’d be able to tour Slovakia and Slovania wearing!

Also note the slim fitting coat, fur trim, and funky hat. I think she’s trying to impress someone.
