Online dating is second nature for my generation. It’s as common place as meeting someone at the laundry matt or grocery store. You just have to make sure you’re going to the right internet dating services, just as you would go to a grocery store in a good neighborhood!

Prime Dating Sites is like a map of internet dating services. Their reviews of eHarmony.com and other popular dating websites provide valuable information about each site’s features, the dating communities they target (dating, friendship, relationship), and what makes that site stand out from the rest.

I’m having issues today.

I forgot to bring change for tolls, then my office phone dies, then the internet decides it doesn’t want to work today, which means that I can’t receive my email or book a business trip to Atlanta, which conveniently enough, butts right up against Agency Boot Camp and my trip to NYC Memorial Day weekend. On top of all that, it’s cold and rainy outside.

Lovely day, isn’t it?

Right after I finished my undergraduate degree in business, I started working full-time in management. Apparently that wasn’t enough to keep me busy, because I decided to start working towards my MBA full-time three months later. I wouldn’t recommend working full-time and going to graduate school full-time to anyone. Three days a week, I would leave work at 3 o’clock to head to school, sit in class for four hours, then finally make it home around 11 o’clock.

This schedule allowed me to finish my MBA in under two years, but it completely drained me of any and all life. Thankfully, my employer was very excited to help me obtain my MBA and put my new expertise to work and allowed a flexible work schedule and paid for half of my tuition.

kaplan logoIf I knew then what I know now, I would have pursued my Business Degree Online where hours and classes are flexible, and designed for working adults. Kaplan University offers online courses in business, management, marketing, sales, entreprenuership, and internet marketing that can be completed at a time that suits the student based on open learning. Not everyone learns the same way or at the same pace, and Kaplan University understands that.

Being able to study and complete course work at a time and place that is convenient for the student, while still benefiting from student and teacher interaction, allows the student to slow down and enjoy the learning experience, while absorbing as much information as possible. I admit that with a hectic work and school schedule, I retained some information just long enough to ace the test, which defeated the purpose of furthering my education.

Those who have completed degrees from Kaplan University are thrilled with the education they received and are putting their knowledge to work every day. Read any of the testimonials, and you’ll see that the success stories are endless.

The IZEA team has a monthly potluck where they get together for fun and debauchery and plunge their faces into perfectly good cake. Though the wonders of the internet, I was able to participate in this month’s cakeplow by being selected for the virtual cakeplow.

Isn’t that fabulous? I’m sure there are other people out there that are just as happy to see cake thrown in my face as I am!

prod GrateIt

I was super excited to add Kraft Grate-It-Fresh parmesan to my shopping cart this afternoon. I wasn’t super excited when I Googled it and read that internet foodies hate it.

I grated some on top of tomato soup for dinner, and maybe it’s because I’m not a food snob, but I thought it was great. Not everyone keeps a perfectly aged wedge of parmesan cheese in waiting!
