As joyful as the holiday season is, we all have people on our list that we dread shopping for. Whehter it’s a great aunt, your husband’s uncle’s cousin’s son, or your half brother who lives on a farm in Wyoming, it’s hard to find just the right Gifts for some people because they either have everything, are just acquaintances and you aren’t sure exactly what they like, or they are super picky people. Lets face it, some people are just a pain in the rear end to shop for because they are just plain ungrateful!

No one can be ungrateful when they receive gift baskets from Delightful Deliveries, which have just the right combination of items that will please everyone with the ability to send a personalized gift thanks to the huge selection available. Delightful Deliveries has every occasion from new baby to Hanukkah to thank you covered, and they all make great corporate gifts because the quality and presentation is stunning.

Delightful Deliveries delivers more than just gift baskets. Their fresh cut flowers are gorgeous and their baked goods, especially the bite size cheesecakes, make my mouth water.

You can be confident that every order you place with Delightful Deliveries lives up to your expectations, arrives on time, and the receiver is thrilled because they are the #1 gift basket website and part of the Hot 100 Retail Websites, setting the online standard for other retailers.

ak-513d40I know I wouldn’t turn down the Ghirardelli’s Greatest Hits gift basket, with a sampling of chocolate bars, squares and mints, along with hot cocoa and truffles for only $54.99!

To sweeten the gift baskets, type in the zip code of the recipient, and select from baskets that ship free to their final destination! I typed in my own zip code, and there are over 50 gift baskets that are available with free delivery! (the Ghiradelli’s gift basket included…hint hint!)

Anything “proactive” has to be good, right? It means taking steps to solve a problem before it starts, having the answers before someone asks, setting up a security net to protect against the unforeseeable. ProActive Software does all of that by solving workflow and communication needs, thus increasing efficiency, effectiveness, accountability, and ultimately, your company’s body line.

ProWorkFlow is a completely web based, project task and time management program meant for small to medium businesses, and ProWorkFlow Enterprise is a hierarchal web based project task and time management program meant for corporations.

Two versions for growing customers…very proactive!

There is nothing like walking out of a shop, satisfied with your purchase, product in hand knowing that you have a face behind the sale.

The Internet in some ways has taken that assurance away from the customer and with the masses of choice only a mouse click away the thought of purchasing a product or service online can be quite daunting.

However, the software as a service (SaaS) industry in New Zealand is fast moving from futuristic idea to current day reality and companies offering SaaS are looking for ways to maintain the personal service which has been a big part of historical software sales.
ProActive Software has found great and personal service to be a key part in their success on the global stage.

CEO Julian Stone says customers have said they’re surprised to get such personal service when dealing with ProActive.

He says “Don’t make sales, build relationships. This is a necessary part of the SaaS business model. Look after your customers as they are the foundation of the business. It’s important to keep customers happy month after month to retain their business.”

Customers of their core product www.proworkflow.com, have told Stone that their dealings with people at other software companies, often based in the US, have been rude, lacked callbacks, with slow email responses, making many customers wary of using SaaS where they had little ability to have personal contact with their supplier.

However, Stone says when customers come across a company with good service, they tell people.

Stone has attributed ProActive’s excellent response time with sales and support enquiries to their customers satisfaction. When customers build their business on our servers and use our code they must know we will be there if something needs attention.

An average enquiry for ProActive, from point of contact, to response is typically 15-60 minutes, where most of ProActive’s customers had said average response times for other software companies was usually measured in days, not minutes or hours.

“If you want to make a sale, sell a good product. If you want to grow a business, sell good service. We’ve found that most referral sales now come in as a result of ProActive Software’s service,” Stone says.

As Stone says “ProActive have built their SaaS company they have always kept service as a top priority, knowing their focus would continually be tested and be drawn onto product development and administration.

ProActive Software knows it is extremely important to keep the level of service constant and high “Customers don’t care that we have ten times as many customer to look after, they don’t care we are on someone else’s problem, they want the high service level maintained – so as we grow we automate, simplify, and when necessary bring in additional resource a bit before it is really needed. It takes a while to build a reputation of not letting down customers, it does not take anywhere near as long to lose it,” Stone Says

I don’t regret my tattoo, but maybe that’s because it is on my back and I don’t have to see it every day. Some people do regret their tattoos though, and for various reasons want to pursue tattoo removal.

As an alternative to laser removal, lots of people have been using tattoo removal creams that contain hydroquinone, which is an over the counter bleaching cream. The FDA is proposing a ban on such creams because hydroquinone has been shown to be a cancer causing agent, so many people are looking for yet another, safer, alternative.

TCA can be purchased through InkBusters.com and is a non-prescription skin-peeling product that is used to remove lines, wrinkles, scars, and has been proven to fade and remove tattoos. It is completely hydroquinone free and a great alternative to both lasers and other over the counter creams.

InkBusters.com Press Release

Headline: FDA bans Tattoo Removal Creams?

San Diego – With the launch of it’s new website, Inkbusters.com warns the public about possible health risks associated with using tattoo removal creams purchased on the Internet. The new site states “many” tattoo removal creams sold online contain Hydroquinone, which is usually the active ingredient in skin bleaching creams.

In August 2006 the FDA proposed a ban on over the counter skin bleaching creams containing Hydroquinone due to concerns about Cancer and Exogenous Ochronosis. This proposed ban is similar to those already enacted in Japan, France, Great Britain and Australia for the same reasons.

InkBusters.com CEO Rick Barker notes, “Indirectly—and probably without knowing it—the FDA is saying they think the tattooed public may be at risk if they use tattoo removal creams containing Hydroquinone. This is particularly true when you consider most skin bleaching cream makers––prescription or OTC––never recommend Hydroquinone be used more than 4-6 months for maximum effect. Many tattoo removal cream makers online offer supplies well beyond this recommended period.”

InkBusters.com sells TCA at its website to help consumers remove tattoos in a natural non-laser fashion. TCA is a popular non-prescription skin-peeling agent commonly used by doctors, health spas and private individuals to remove fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars on the face. TCA has twice been medically tested and proven to fade and/or remove tattoos on the body. TCA looks and feels like water and is applied with a q-tip. There is no Hydroquinone in TCA.

If I haven’t already told everyone and their brother, I got a promotion this week. I’m the new Field Marketing Coordinator for my company, which means I’m a very important person (read: the CEO gets to yell at me if something is wrong) and will be getting a Blackberry smartphone soon.

I have mixed feelings about this. There have been numerous ocassions where having a Blackberry would have been handy…say, when I had signage installed and the wind ripped it down and it hit a car. Oops. There have also been ocassions where I don’t want to be available on a whim. Say, after 5 o’clock on a Friday night. I do love that my Outlook calendar will be at my fingertips and I won’t have to keep a written calendar to take with me everywhere.

I also think having a Blackberry automatically qualifies you as rude. Okay, I probably shouldn’t make such a sweeping statement, but it does seem like people are always emailing during meetings, in the middle of a movie, and when they are out to dinner with their families. Are some things not sacred?!

My main problem is that I am a workaholic, and I will be answering emails as soon as they come through, when it isn’t necessary to answer them until working hours. It’s going to be a big challenge for me to let that little sucker ding and ignore it. I’m also going to have to control my personal usage. I’ll be checking my gmail when I get up to pee in the middle of the night. I don’t want to develope a Blackberry addiction.

Blackberry usage has a time and a place, and I’m determined to keep it within those restraints.

Has your Blackberry ruined your life or do you love it so much you want to marry it?

Never go into a meeting with the CEO when you’re $300,000 over budget. Ouch.
