If you’re a regular to my blog 1.) thank you and 2.) you know I’m a nervous flier. Not that it will change the outcome on the flight, but as I board I always take a Xanax and make sure I have a distinguished looking pilot, ala Sully. A flight attendant like this one would also totally calm my nerves…

Good thing we’re flying Southwest to Vegas in May.

PS – Make sure to follow Southwest on Twitter. They are awesome.

I watch the ABC World News with Charlie Gibson every evening while I am eating dinner or getting in some Wii Fit stepping. I absolutely love Charlie and the way he engages everyone in the news and I especially enjoy that he tells me that he hopes I had a great day at the end of every broadcast. It’s his signature sign-off.

The other evening, I was super excited to hear Charlie introduce a segment about something I’m going to get to see firsthand this fall…Dolphin Bubbles at SeaWorld! Just watch, and you’ll quickly see why I was so captivated by the video…

Everybody knows that dolphins are super intelligent, but the story goes that one dolphin started blowing bubbles and taught all the other dolphins how to do the same! Now they all blow perfect circles, push them around with their noses, and swim through them to entertain themselves and the SeaWorld guests! It’s easy to see why the dolphins are a huge attraction at the park.

All of their personalities really start to shine when you see all the dolphins playing and interacting with each other, and I can’t wait to see dolphin bubbles for myself when I visit in October!

Mike would normally describe me as partly cloudy with a chance of severe thunderstorms, high winds, and hail. I changed my medications from Lexapro to a combination of Effexor and Xanax (as needed – I love when doctors prescribe things as needed) a few weeks ago and didn’t tell him, just to see if he would see a change in my moods, and yesterday he described me as 70 and sunny!

Yes, I think that describes me perfectly.

In other news, I really enjoy following @jerrytaft on Twitter, hence the meteorlogical references.

In the past week, two of our clients and their cookbooks were featured on the local news in Chicago and St. Louis. They both have outstanding cookbooks and did an fantastic job using completely different approaches to their screen time; Naam Pruitt giving a cooking demonstration and Nielsen-Massey * show casing their product line.

EDIT: Video removed because it autoplays. Ick. Watch Naam Pruitt’s cooking segment.

I don’t work directly with these clients very often, but my company did provide all of the photography for the cookbooks and some recipe development, so it’s awesome to see our** work on television!

*Channel 7 doesn’t allow embedding, so click for video.

** Okay, so both cookbooks were completed before I was hired, but it doesn’t make it any less exciting!

There doesn’t seem to be enough filth on my blog lately, so here goes. All that hard earned money my parents spent on Catholic school and this is what I put out there for all the world to see.

There certainly seems to be enough penis related blog posts around here, and now thanks to Jimmy Kimmel we can add a clitoris joke to the mix. It’s only fair, right? And it’s all technical terms I’m talking about here people, no street slang for me. I’ve got class.

Poor guy seems really embarrassed and I think it takes a lot to embarrass a guy who admits to f*cking Ben Affleck.
