Start your New Year’s Resolution with a Cleanse!
I am loving Atkins. 7 pounds in 7 days and I haven’t once been hungry. The only thing I don’t love is that I can’t go. To the bathroom. Number two. I know that’s too much information, but lets get real. We all go to the bathroom and a lot of us are focused on a healthy new year, and the two go hand in hand.
A great way to start a new diet and exercise routine is with an Herbal Cleanser, like the Dual-Action Cleanse. A colon cleanse helps to eliminate toxins from the body and give you a fresh start. There’s an entire list of improvements you may feel after a colon cleanse, including increased energy, decrease gas and bloating, clearer skin and the ultimate goal…a slimmer silhouette.
The Dual-Action Cleanse contains a proprietary blend of 22 fibers and herbs that increase digestive function and promote bowel movements. Fennel seed, apple pectin, lemon peal, mint leaf, and turnip are all part of that blend and all natural substances we know and can pronounce! No scary chemicals or ancient herbs.
If you’re looking to jump-start your New Year’s resolution, consider a colon cleanse!

Can you post a typical day of food/meals that you eat? You have me intrigued …
I always had a problem with #2 … but I’ve trained my body to do it first thing in the morning. So now it knows.

The initial weight loss from water adjustment in your body is cool, but keep in mind that it’s temporary. If you eat sugars again you’ll put that initial weight on really quickly. You’ll plateau a bit in a few days. However don’t lose heart and keep it up .. if you DO manage to stick with Atkins you’ll start losing weight again and that’s real weight you’re losing.

Teena – I’ve trained myself, too! My husband thinks there’s something wrong with me, but I just think that girls don’t go as often as boys!

Connie – I’ve done it before, and it’s really not that bad! I was prepared to be stuck in the bathroom all day, but it takes a while to work and then it’s quick!

LadyGrace – It’s worth a shot!

Owen – Good point. I did plateau the past two days, but I’ve kept up with the diet. I actually feel better without all the carbs. Not as tired. Hopefully I’ll see some pounds come off in the next few days.

Hi Corrin! A couple days ago I was on the Yahoo search engine and typed in a search about organic ointment for my one cat’s inflammed anal area (she has chronic loose stools and we and our vets are trying everything to help her problem) and ended up somehow getting referred to a site called poop report.com. The site is run by a former nurse and answers all things number 2 and butt-related. I kid you not. He covers cleansing on there too.

Hi Corrin! One more comment before bedtime! I have IBS and know how the number 2 can be fleeting and also in my case, too frequent. When I know I have a constipation phase coming on I eat one or 2 apples 2-4 hours before I go to bed and the next morning I have no problem. Apples, one or 2 a day not only solve that problem but they actually keep my diarrhea days in check and keep things regular. Activia yogurt really does help too. We tried it with Tabi, our cat from my previous comment (vanilla only) and it started helping her but after a week she didn’t want it anymore. Even her hypo-allergenic food isn’t helping her.

Joan – The poop report sounds strangely interesting. Good tip about apples, too. Too bad I’m on Atkins!
