Show me your lip bomb #lipbomb
I don’t know if you have to be invited, or what, but I’m totally inserting myself into the lip bomb party at the glossarie. Show me your lip bomb is a wonderful little blog series wherein the ladies snap pics of the lip products in their purse at any given time and share. So, I bring you my lip bomb…
Target has the quirkiest little wallets and pouches and my friend Megs surprised me with this llama gem that holds all my jams and jellies–it’s bursting at the seams and it’s clear that I have a food/sweets/candy theme to my lip gloss love (which is odd since I prefer salty snacks).
Juicy Tubes have been a staple since high school. I don’t care if my hair gets stuck to my lips as long as my Juicy Tube sparkles and smells like watermelon Jolly Ranchers. I usually buy the gift set every Christmas to get me through the year.
Austin Stylish introduced me to the wonders of cocoa butter Vaseline and I now keep it on my person at all times. It’s great for your lips and nose (oh, allergies) and elbows and hands in a pinch.
Carmex everyday lip conditioner smells like a dreamsicle. That’s all I have to say about that.
This blueberry eos was part of an Alice in Wonderland set that I impulse bought at Target a few months ago. You rarely find blueberry flavored products, so it mixes things up a bit.
Softlips peppermint stick is a carryover from Christmas…and high school. Didn’t all the popular girls use Softlips?
Philosophy doesn’t make their melting marshmallow cream lip gloss anymore, so I can’t bear to part with the tiny bit that’s still in my tube (though when I do, it will be replaced with vanilla birthday cake).
I’m sure there’s a few more Chapsticks being tossed around at the bottom of my purse, but this is the good stuff. How many lip products do you carry with you? Or are you faithful to one brand only?

I’ve been to loyal to Burt’s Bees for chapstick for a lot of years now. I have a lip gloss from Ulta that I’ve been using for at least five years. I’m saving this post, though, for future reference, in case something ever runs out and I need a good replacement.

My sister is a devoted Burt’s Bees user, too. You can smell that peppermint a mile away.

I would not be able to make it without my Burt’s Bees lip balm – I am addicted! For color, I like CoverGirl NatureLuxe Gloss, Revlon Lip Butter, and Loreal Colour Rich Balm.

I’m obsessed with lip stuff too and have at least five in my purse, maybe more. I love the coconut butter vasaline! I also love LypSyl, Baby Lips, Smith’s Rosebud (in a tube) and plain old Blistex. I use sweet mint eos in a stick because the balls always get dirty in my purse and I look like an idiot when putting it on. Haha! And Lush’s popcorn lip scrub is my favorite thing on the planet this winter!

You’re like the 10th person to mention Baby Lips. Must try.
