Bettie Page died today at the age of 85. She was recently hospitalized due to pneumonia but ultimately died of a heart attack.

I’ve always found her extremely interesting. From being the salutatorian of her Senior class, to her rise as a bondage model, to her mysterious disappearance in the 1960′s after becoming a born-again Christian and working as a Baptist missionary in Angola, to resurfacing briefly in the 1990′s (Looking almost exactly the same as she did in her pin-up days! Bangs and all!), I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone with such a varied life!
