Reliving my Catholic school days

965434-p-DETAILEDBack in my Catholic school days (seriously – is there anybody out there that didn’t guess that I went to Catholic school?) I used to totally rock the saddle shoes and knee high socks. Granted, it was more of a uniform requirement than a personal choice – what I really wanted to wear the LA Gears with the leather spirals on the side and the license plate key chain, but my mom said they would get too dirty – but looking back I think they totally kick ass.

In fact, I think they kick so much ass that I want a pair now. The question is, does a grown woman wearing saddle shoes look chic and fashion forward or like a complete idiot?

I don’t know how to answer- I don’t think they are fashion forward, but I don’t think you’d be trying too hard either. I think it’s unique and I like that style. Go for it!

I just voted only to figure out currently there are 4 votes for each option. I think this is likely to be what you will see when you go out and wailk in these shoes. Some will come up to you and say how chic you look when will whisper to someone else’s ears about how stupid you looked; and there will be those who will make it clear to your face that you look bad when actually thinking how damn good of a style you have.

There will of course be “exceptions” who will actually tell the truth.

What you should mind is, do you really care? I mean just go for it, try’em on.. And if you feel good and socially comfortable that day, it’s all good. It not, at least you won’t have the feeling of wanting to wear them all the time :D

God!. This was long!!. sorry ://

Roy – You’re absolutely right. All I can do is try ‘em! Though I think I’m going to chicken out. My sister said I’d look too rockabilly. :-P

I’m sorry for making too many spelling/writing errors. I don’t know what is wrong with my hands. I must be tired. Once again, please accept my apologies. Have a good one.
