Now that the secret about the Red Chair Confessions is out and everyone knows that Talbots has a new sleeker look and fabulous fall fashions, it’s time to put together an outfit! There are so many new styles on Talbots website that are sleek and classic that it’s hard to choose, but I think I found a little get-up that goes with my casual style.

Trouser jeans are a staple (but lets ditch the scarf belt – it’s not very hip and happenin’) with the classic jewel-print shirt – which I’d like to point out does come in womens sizes for those of us with a fuller bust that don’t like gaping holes between buttons! Lets not forget a jacket – the woven twill jacket in honey is adorable ( but again, lets ditch the pin – it’s pretty fuddy duddy) and would look great with any old tee underneath.

I’m torn on the shoes – it’s between the chain-trim ballet flats to match the blouse or the riding boots. I cannot pass up a good pair of flats or riding boots. I’ll sacrifice just about anything for either.
