Earlier this year, we were enthusiastically spending time at Balmoral Park. We weren’t Gamblers Anonymous enthusiastic, but we did visit the track about once a week. It’s a cheap night out, the horses are pretty in their english saddles, and they have the best hot pretzels.
We kind of forgot about betting on the ponies since they don’t race during the hot summer months, but I’m ready to brush up on my stats and spend an evening at the races. Post time 6:20!
Are there any racing enthusiasts out there? Any betting tactics you would recommend?

I’m not a big gambler, but when I do go out to the casinos, my favorite thing to do is play the ponies. Santa Anita is my favorite, but Balmoral Park comes in at a close second.
