Phyllis the 2010 Prius!

After 13 months of waiting…Meet Phyllis! My 2010 Prius with navigation, DVD player, moon roof, solar panels, backup camera, keyless entry, Bluetooth, satellite radio, and a bunch of other stuff that I’m learning how to work. I’m in love. And averaging 62 mpg.

Unfortunately, on the way to get Phyllis, we were in a bit of a fender bender in Mike’s ‘Rolla. No one was hurt and the damage was minimal to all involved – it’s just an inconvenience. We’re just happy it didn’t happen on the way home in the new car!

And being the jealous type, it didn’t take long for Mike to use the accident as a reason why he needed a new Prius, too. I reminded him that he’s married now and gets the hand-me-down cars, so Phyllis will be all his in 2013 when she’s paid off. If he has a problem with that, he can talk to my dad.

Welcome home Phyllis! She’s a cutie.

Sorry to hear about the fender bender. What timing! Hubs and I just traded in both of our vehicles for two Dodge Nitro’s. Could not pass on the deal and the bank was even shocked at the great deal we got so all is good in the world. He got silver and I have the white.

You’ve got some FANTASTIC options added to Phyllis! I’m especially impressed with the GPS system! And 61 MPG, well, that’s just amazing. Tell us what it’s like to drive a silent car.

Phyllis is Sweet! Wow, 13 months of waiting, that is quite some time. Well worth it though for 62 miles per gallon and lots of cool features.

See? No one cares about my poor Corolla. I need to upgrade.

Sorry about Mike’s car! (Happy, Mike?) Glad you were all okay! I think it’s crazy that you had to wait 13 months. I told my parents that a few weeks ago when they came over in theirs, and they said it must just be in your area because there are fully loaded editions on the sales lots here. Yours sounds awesome though! Have you noticed it kind of sounds like an airplane taking off when you start it?

62 mpg would be worth the wait. Very nice!
