Nobody looks good in shorts.

I abhor shorts. I don’t think anyone looks good in shorts. I don’t care if your legs are ten miles long and naturally tan – shorts are not flattering. And I won’t even start ranting about formal shorts.
I prefer skirts. Cute, funky, cheap skirts – so that I can buy a million of them. We all know that cute and cheap is a hard combo to find – if something is unique, it usually costs a fortune.
I’m talking to you Anthropologie.

I decided a couple summers ago that I wasn’t going to buy shorts anymore. I haven’t had a pair I liked since I was, maybe, ten. The real epiphany was realizing you have to make sure you’ve shaved your legs recently just as much in shorts as a skirt. If I’m going to put forth that kind of planning and effort, why not look cute?
