The Rumpled to Runway fashion event sponsored by Electrolux benefiting the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund is next Wednesday in New York City and I’ve been practicing my runway walk for weeks.

Just kidding!

Our challenge was to dress in white and accessorize with teal (the official color of Ovarian Cancer Awareness) and send in a photo of our “look” for a consultation with a stylist (to see what kind of mess they got themselves in by inviting me, I’m sure), so I thought I’d share what I’ll be wearing!

Being from Austin, where “dressed-up” is clean jeans and flip-flops, I went super casual with my wardrobe and incorporated some unique accessories. Oh, and since I’m a bargain shopper at heart, my entire outfit was purchased for less than $150. Take that Fashion Week.
