Is a watch a work expense?

SFP801The hardest part of my new job is getting used keeping track of every minute of my day in order to bill clients accurately. I have to note when meetings start and end, times of phone calls, and minutes spent replying to emails, which is very difficult since I never wear a watch!

That’s all going to change next paycheck when I buy a new Seiko watch and stop getting clients price breaks by just approximating my time. I’d like a heftier watch with a little bit of bulk, and since black is all the rage in watches, I’d love to go with a silver band to match all my jewelry but a black face to be a little trendier.

BlueDial.com has just the watch for under $100. I wonder if a new watch is reimbursable?

That’s a nice looking watch, Corrin! And a great deal. It’s so hard for me to remember to put on everything each day…ring and earrings are about all I put on and always seem to forget my watch.
