I lied. I want a Kindle.
A mere two months ago, I swore I would never buy a Kindle.
Surprise – I lied. I want one. Bad.
First, Jenn Lancaster says that The Kindle is Not The Devil. Then, my parents bought my sisters’s boyfriend (When can I just start referring to him as my brother-in-law? It’s not like he’s going anywhere.) a Kindle for Christmas. And now you can subscribe to Oh Hey on your Kindle so I kind of have to have one.
Right?
Right.
My birthday is March 18th. You should all chip in.
Totally joking. I would never ask anyone to buy me something.
Unlessed they wanted to.
Please?

Strangely enough when I first heard of it I thought, no way! But… I hadn’t really seen pictures of it until recently and the size and shape isn’t that far off holding a real book in your hands. It’s a good idea if it keeps people reading!

I also was in the “I will never buy a Kindle” camp. One of my friends will not shut up about her damn Kindle. That is making me even more obstinate. Plus, to me, there is something sacred about cracking open a book and flipping through the pages. I would love to say that is the one piece of technology I won’t ever get, but sadly I’ll probably fall in line with everyone else in the next few years.

I hope you get one soon!
I too love my Kindle.

I’m STILL in the “I’ll never buy a Kindle” camp!
My sister thinks hers is wonderful (except it’s not a Kindle). And that’s part of the problem I think – they aren’t all the same. I’ll wait and see. Always indecisive.

Not to be a booger…but I love mine! I prefer reading on my Kindle to reading actual books.

I’ve always been in the “Wants a Kindle so freakin bad” camp!! My dad emailed me and asked WHICH one I wanted…it was in the bag. What did I do? Told him I didn’t want that and wanted a gym membership for christmas and every gift giving holiday after it!
Honestly, the Kindle is like the ipod…pricey now and will go down by Christmas next year, let’s hope!
