Hula Hoop Hell

Two weeks into being 29-years old, and I’m shuffling around like an old lady because I threw my back out with a monster Wii Fit hula hoop session earlier this week. I was in tears trying to get out of my car last night, have to brace myself on the sink to sit down and pee, and I don’t even want to talk about what I had to go through to get my underwear on this morning. I even had to wear flip-flops to work today because I couldn’t get my socks on.

And of course, I’m at my clumsiest when I can’t move. Last night I dropped a bottle of water. This morning I dropped a tub of butter. On my way out the door this morning I dropped my keys. Twice.

Ollie also had the pleasure of destroying a brand new pair of GAP socks last night because I’m not mobile enough to chase him around the house and recapture my belongings.

Basically, I’m useless this week.

It’s a shame that you’ll probably never play Wii Fit Hula Hoop again, and no one had the good sense to video the first time! I’m sure that you would want to save that for posterity.

Oh I feel for you! Throwing my back out is the worst ever pain in the world. Not so much my bank though. They can suck it with all their fees!

That completely sucks. I was sore for days after doing yard work. I felt really old and out of shape. I hope you get to feeling better.

Hi Corrin! I hope your back is feeling better! You notice how when you ache and can hardly move is when you drop everything more? I’m sure I’ll be in the same predicament when I start doing yard work. OUCH!
