Howard Miller Clocks

620-451My parents just celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on August 25th and as a wedding gift, they received a Howard Miller clock, which still hangs in our living room. I can still hum the theme to the chime, and I haven’t lived at home in almost ten years. Growing up, I remember putting a little stuffed Christmas mouse on the top of the clock every holiday season in honor of the book Tale of Christmas Mouse, who…

trims the tree and sweeps the floor, and when Santa comes, he opens the door.

Howard Miller clocks make the best wedding gifts because it is something the couple will use forever, and due to their quality craftsmanship, they become a family heirloom. I know I’m hoping to inherit my parent’s clock, but until then, I have my eye on the cosmopolitan wall clock, with it’s brushed nickel and glass door.

I have to admit, Howard Miller wins me over even more because they have a blog, and even agree with me that clocks make great gifts.

We all know that I consider reasonable shipping to be a tell tale sign of a good online store, and Howard Miller goes above and beyond that by offering free shipping on orders over $100.
