Harvest Coarse Ground Grey Poupon

IMG 1918I hesitate to call it a New Year’s Resolution, but I have resounded to the fact that I am too heavy and have decided to make an effort to watch what I eat. That means adding more fruits and veggies to my diet, and having a small salad before dinner to help fill me up.

I was super excited to be asked to try two new Grey Poupon varieties, hearty IMG 1924spicy brown and harvest coarse ground, because one tablespoon only has 10 calories. I taste tested each sample, and decided that I liked the texture of the harvest coarse ground and the fact that it was spicy but not hot.

By mixing a tablespoon of Grey Poupon harvest coarse ground with a tablespoon of honey, I made a tasty salad dressing for only 70 calories that has quite a kick! I plan on adding the new Grey Poupon to sandwiches, chicken breasts, and dipping pretzels in it from now on.

What a great idea! I’ve always got honey on hand, so I’ll be trying this. I bet it would be tasty drizzled over slices of pork roast, too!
