Staci – That’s quite the hamster story! I knew a guy in college whose roommate had hamsters that always got loose. They chewed through cords and wires, and he woke up one morning to the little guy biting him in bed!

I don’t know. Hamsters can be pretty aggressive. I had two in the fifth grade, and I woke up on Sunday morning to find out that one had gutted the other. Literally, the hamster had opened up the other hamster’s stomach. We tried to give him to the teenager downstairs, but he bit him through thick garden gloves. I hate to say it, but eventually we set the hamster free in the woods. I have a feeling the hamster ended up terrorizing every squirrel and rat in those woods.
