Green Thumb
I’m getting antsy being in an apartment. There’s not enough room and there’s no yard – but we do have a balcony and I tried my hand at some planter gardens this year. I did have to ask for some assistance from a true horticulturist to make sure that I didn’t murder my lavender, but things are going surprisingly well and I have lots of blooms!

I spend a little time every day poking around my flowers, plucking off dead leaves, and making sure they are properly watered and I’m really enjoying being outside. I may not be up to buy a log cabin just yet, but I am looking forward to getting a house and a garden and want to buy garden shed – preferably a cute little one with shuttered windows and flower boxes.
Edit: The white screen is so that a certain weiner dog doesn’t take a flying leap off the 2nd story balcony.

Your garden is lovely! I envy those with a green thumb.

Thank you, Cindy. We’ll see how green my thumb is when I move beyond marigolds.
