blogoversary

We’ve all been there. You’re on a long car ride, you’re bladder is about to burst, and the gas station bathroom is revolting. You’re at a concert, you stand in line forever to pee, and the stall is out of toilet paper. Against your better judgment, you’re on a hike and your diligence at staying hydrated has resulted in nearly goGirl logoVertical hiResturning your eyeballs yellow.

What do you do?

You whip out your GoGirl!

A GoGirl is a flexible silicone funnel that allows you to pee standing up! Fancy folks call it a “female urination device.” I call it sweet sweet relief!

GoGirl comes in a plastic tube that tucks easily into your purse, and even includes tissues and a plastic bag for disposal or reuse. And since we women like options, it comes in pink and camo!

goGirl camoPink 3pack

I’m a huge fan of GoGirl – I keep one in my purse and in my glove compartment. They also make a great hat if you come across an impromptu party.

GoGirl is awesome in so many ways – and they’ve given me two prize packs, including a GoGirl and a t-shirt to give away!

Main entry – that means you have to complete this entry to win!

  • Visit GoGirl and tell me where it would come in handy for you.

Extra entries – you can complete any or all of these for extra entries!

Follow @CorrinRenee for 12 days of giveaways! Today’s prize is from @Go_Girls! http://corrinrenee.com/gogirl

REMEMBER to leave a separate comment for each entry!

The fine print… Entries will be accepted until midnight, Thursday, December 17th. One winner will be chosen at random and announced on Friday, December 18th. Winner will be contacted by email and/or Twitter and will have 48 hours to respond. Please use your real first name or web moniker and a valid email address when entering. I am not responsible for incorrect contact information. Prize will be shipped directly from sponsor. Good luck!

This is a sponsored giveaway. I received no compensation for this post. Please read my site policy if you have any questions.

I play a sport mainly populated by men, so lets just say the porto-potties are never very clean. I would so use Go-Girl in those , and save myself the worry of wet butt and worse :)

GoGirl would come in handy on my upcoming trip to northern Illinois for the big family Christmas. Its a loooong trip in the car, and some of those rest stops/gas station bathrooms are disgusting.
I’d keep it in my purse for everywhere. :)

  • Laura G

It would really come in handy when I’m by myself with my kiddo in the baby carrier, say at the zoo. Can’t take it off and its incredibly hard to sit and pee with her strapped to my chest and clean or find a clean toilet seat, forget it! I so need one of these so I can just unzip!!!

  • Laura G

This would really come in handy for porta-pottys. They are so small, you don’t want to touch anything in there and there is NO room to even turn around or “hover” LOL!

  • Laura G

I could’ve used GoGirl so many times on our small fishing boat. No hauling up anchor, loosing our spot just to go to the shore and use a stinky outhouse! I really need one of these!

So I actually stumbled upon GoGirl while on stumbleupon.com. I think this is the greatest thing invented that I’ve seen in a very long time. For me, this would come in handy while deployed. I’m active duty military and a last year when deployed to the middle east….using the bathroom was the most unsanitary thing I’ve ever experienced. I would soooo love to ship truck loads of these GoGirls to my fellow sisters in combat……my goodness it would be a blessing I tell you that much. I will be taking one with me the next time I go back over there for sure!!!!

This would come in handy for me during the Breast Cancer 3-Day and our training walks.

They should seriously sponsor me. They’d make so much money from walkers if they knew about this product. There were women peeing in the bushes for Christ’s sake. I won’t even go into how disgusting the toilets were at this event.

Needless to say, even if I don’t win, I’ll be placing an order eventually.

It’d be great at the wacky rural auctions I attend, sometimes there’s no portapottie and I could use it in private in my big van.

  • Mary Ehlers

I saw Go Girl at the Ragbrai expo and thought it was fascinating but didn’t buy one. When I got home I realized all the places I could use one and ordered three from their website. On our next camping trip, was SO glad to have one since the outhouses were a LONG way away!! I also gave one to my sis-in-law as she goes off roading all the time. Now she’s a convert, too!! Easy to use, sanitary and so much better than trying to not pee in your shoes!

  • Kelley

I loved my go-girl in Costa Rica when I had to use the “toilet”…community farm toilet made out of wood…seat and evrything! It was nasty! Thank goodness I had my go-girl so I didn’t have to sit down on the toilet! Thank you! I also got other missionaries to buy one. :)

  • Jordyne

I have OCD so using a public restroom might be bearable with one of these. :)

Well, I had a memorable episode recently in which my passenger utilized a blender — yes, a blender — which happened to be in the back seat of my car. Needless to say, GoGirl would be a much-preferred option! Beyond that, I’d carry it in my waist pack during long races — having to wait in line for the Porta-Potty can really cut into a girl’s finishing time, whereas the men can just pause by the nearest bush and whip it out. :)

  • Jamie

I’m in shock — about 10 years ago my husband and I were at a parade. We stopped at a gas station to pee. Of course, the men’s line was short and he was done quickly. Meanwhile, I stood in line forever. My husband said women could pee faster if we didn’t have to sit down and he suggested we make a product that allows women to pee while standing up. He went to great detail and I told him that no woman would want to carry something like this around in their purse. Boy, I guess I’m wrong! This would be a lifesaver for those road trip moments where the toilet is less than inviting to sit on.

  • Elena

This is super awesome! I live a long way from anywhere and squatting beside the road on road trips is SO not cool–that’s where I’d use it! Thanks for the great contest!

  • Wehaf

This would be perfect for camping!

  • Amy

I have an unfortunately small bladder, seriously there is no where that we don’t go that I don’t end up in the bathroom and I always have to second guess whether I should go out because of the bathrooms I may have to end up using. This would be such a great thing to keep in my bag to help out in those awful gas station bathrooms that I seem to see all too much of!

This would come in handy on geocaching trips with my family. I hate to squat in the woods, and no one wants to stop halfway to the cache because Mom needs to run back to the potty!

  • Carmela P

Using them in a port-o-potty is the best idea!! Sometimes you can hold out, and sometimes you cant. There is nothing more revolting than sitting/hovering in one of those, but the GoGirl solves that!!

  • Pat

I just ordered one today from your website. I am a police officer in Pennsylvania. I used to work alone a lot for my department. Nothing is worse than getting a call when you need a break! It is a real pain taking off a loaded duty belt during my shift. I know I chose my career, but not the choice to be different than my brothers. I hope this helps my shift go smoother. I’ll keep in touch and let you know….
P.S. This would be great for a Women’s Street Survival Seminar. Or any women’s officer conference. I could be a spokewoman.
Thanks for the idea. Hopefully it will be a great help to me. Have a good holiday.

This would come in handy during long train rides. I’ve been on trains for as long as 10 hours and by then the bathrooms are disgusting and smelly. I’ll definitely take this with me on my next long trip whether by car, train, or plane.

This would be great on overseas travel. I’m still tramatized from my bathroom experience in Israel — unisex bathroom and the only stall with a door had it duct taped on. Not to mention it was so filthy that the worst gas station bathroom I’ve seen in the USA was sparkling compared to this bathroom. The only way I was able to make myself us it was getting myself drunk! LOL!

  • lace

This is such a fascinating product. It would make a perfect gift for family members that hunt. I’m sure spending all day in the woods and having to pull your pants (and warm outerwear) all the way down is not fun.
