I sleep best in very specific conditions – dark, cool, two pillows, two blankets, with a wiener dog curled up behind the crook of my knees. Two blankets are imperative because my husband and I refuse to share. He’s a dirty blanket thief and hotter than a furnace, so I’m either freezing cold because he’s stolen my half of the covers or burning up because he decided he wants to spoon (though I’m sure if you ask him he’d say that I’m the dirty blanket thief – which is just a bold faced lie). Either way, it means I’m up multiple times a night wrestling blankets or fanning the sweat between my boobs.

There must be couples everywhere dealing with the same problem, because Sleep Number offers the In Balance Blanket made with Outlast® Adaptive Comfort® material which balances temperature swings – one of the top reasons for restless nights. It’s 200-thread-count 100% cotton sateen cover with 4-inch box construction filled with hypoallergenic down alternative that won’t shift or bunch is…divine. It’s soft and smooth, not too thick but not too thin, and keeps you at just the right temperature while you snooze. They even make a whole line of In Balance bedding – including mattress toppers, pillows, and sheets – to round out the whole comfy sleeping experience.
But we’re totally still a two blanket household, because I love the In Balance Blanket so much that I claimed it as my own. You can claim the In Balance Blanket as your own too, because not only did Sleep Number give me an In Balance Blanket to solve my marital sleeping woes, they want to give you one, too!
One winner will receive an In Balance Blanket worth $169.99! To enter, leave a comment about your sleeping habits. In fact, come back every day and leave a comment to enter! Do you sleepwalk, talk in your sleep, or sleep like a log? Do you sleep with a nightlight, a body pillow, or a favorite blanket? How many hours of sleep do you need to feel rested? Are you a napper?
Remember – you can enter every day through July 24th for your best odds of winning! Good luck and sweet dreams!
The fine print…Entries will be accepted until midnight, Friday, July 24. Entrants agree to receive Sleep Number deals and sleep tips via email – Sleep Number will never share or sell your information – and who doesn’t want info about how to get a better nights sleep?! Winner will be chosen at random and announced on Saturday, July 25. Winner will be contacted by email and/or Twitter and will have 48 hours to respond. Please use your real first name and a valid email address when entering. I am not responsible for incorrect contact information. Prize will be shipped from Sleep Number to winner.

I like to sleep in a dark room; hubby watches tv until he falls asleep. Then I turn off the tv and get in bed. He doesn’t like to fall asleep under a blanket, but steals mine during the night. (He claims I throw it off and over him, but he fibs.) We do have a Sleep Number bed (way different numbers), so that helps a lot in getting a good night’s sleep.

Work potluck has made me so sleepy, but can’t go to bed yet.
Thanks for the giveaway >^..^<

I love to sleep under covers-a comforter. My husband doesn’t like to sleep under anything but a sheet. I usually get eight hours of sleep. I go to sleep watching tv.
sarah woods
Love the down comforter and thin sheet; however I know that there is a sleep number mattress for comfort why not the appropriate sleep number for temperature comfort;
Janet
I’M A SNORER AND A NIGHT OWL SO I NAP DURING THE DAY! LOL TY 4 THE GREAT REVIEW AND 4 THE ENTRY:)

I have to have a sheet, even in summer. I don’t like sleeping directly under a blanket, and I guess the reason for having a sheet in summer is in case a monster comes and I need to shield myself. Everyone knows you’re safe if you’re covered up.
Helen
I sleep on a contour pillow and a body pillow.
Heather C
I love naps! I also love to stay up late at night. I sleep on my side, usually with a neck pillow, and I have to have covers. Thanks for this chance.
Alka
I like to keep three pillows one for midbody and for feet and one for head.
Kelly Ann T.
I love to sleep on a rainy night.
Tamara Burks
I’m a raging insomniac. I can’t sleep without at least a sheet over me no matter how hot it is. And I always have to sleep on my side but I keep flipping from one side to another to get comfortable.
Gianna
I sleep with one body pillow and 4 other regular pillows. Helps with the chronic pain a bit depending on how I position them.
