My problem is ice cream…and then I get constipated,to be totally honest….I’d like to try Fiber-One.
I tell myself crackers can’t be too bad. They don’t have sugar and are nutritious.
Guilty late night food snacks? Ice cream!!! Cheesecake!! But not always. Sometimes it’s fruit or celery sticks. Depends on my mood.
I haven’t had to think much about my weight. If I have to analyze why I think it is because I just naturally do some things that are supposed to promote weight control.. Don’t drive if I can walk. Always park in the farthest reaches of the parking lot where there’s lots of space. Fidget a lot. Hate a lot of the foods people have trouble with. Soft drinks! Yuck! Fast food! People actually EAT that stuff. Chips! Way too salty! Don’t like salt. Etc., etc. Also for reason other than weight control, I have a fairly lo-carb diet–well except for the occasional ice cream binge.
Diet secrets. Well I take a lot of supplements. The ones that are relevant to weight though are coconut oil, magnesium (with calcium), and high fiber foods like beans and lentils.
I love dipping nacho cheese Doritos into cottage cheese.

I have a consistent weakness for chocolate and unfortunately for salty snacks. Recent press has blessed chocolate with being downright healthy while sodium in quantity is not a good thing at all.
Since I’m the grocery shopper, it falls on me to police the guality and guantity of available snacks in the house. I’ve pushed portion control with hubby and swapping healthier choices for all of us.
I’ve made an effort to do heavy yardwork and let that be a consistent exercise effort in my life. I’m terrible about consistently walking or using the bike/treadmill. But the grass and weeds never stop growing and I’m saving the money we would of paid for yardwork in the process.

I lost 45 pounds by eating the right and healthy foods and working out 2-3 times a week. It has worked for me so far.
I have recently fallen in love with Mint Moose Tracks ice cream. I am guilty of grabbing a spoonful right out of the container when the kids aren’t looking.

My guilty pleasure is Nutella, but I have it in moderation (1 tablespoon on whole wheat bread). I do cardio every day (30 minutes) and strength training 4 days a week. I drink 3 liters of water daily and keep my calorie intake under 1,600 calories. Also, I make sure I have more than 25g of fiber and around 100g of lean protein daily.

I absolutely love the Fiber One Pancakes better than any other.
My guilty snacking pleasure is homemade queso dip and chips, I can eat them all night!
My secret to success in dieting is lots of water, I cut almost everything else out except a coffee with no sugar. Try to eat only chicken and seafood, grilled or broiled. For fast meals, nothing over 300 calories.

My husband and my HDL (bad cholesterol) was up on our last physicals, so we are trying the increased fiber approach–we like fiber one cereal. We are trying the 6 meals a day with protein and fibrous veg/fruit each meal.

My diet secret is making a salad to eat before I place dinner on the table. That way my family eats up their vegetables while their really hungry. I always finish off dinner with a dessert like sugar-free, fat-free pudding or gelatin with whipped topping.

To manage my weight I walk my dog at least 30 minutes every day rain or shine.
I guess that my best diet secret would be to switch from regular water to flavored seltzer once in awhile so that you get the water that you need without getting too bored.

One way I manage my weight is by making sure I work out daily, even if it’s just for 5-10 minutes!
While dieting, I don’t keep anything in the house that I’m not supposed to be eating on my diet. I let my friends and family know that I’m on a diet so they can monitor me if we’re out to eat and they spot me ordering something with loads of carbs! I don’t push too hard though, I’ll let myself have a piece of cake every now and then.
My guilt pleasure is anything crunchy and salty. I just can’t have popcorn, chips, etc around or I’ll munch on them until they’re gone!
I think I must have been using the rain dance method of weight control, because it doesn’t seem to be working. But when I’m trying harder it’s lots of water, fiber, and fresh foods, and no processed products. Thanks so much!

At the moment, I don’t have time to manage my weight. When I have in the past, though, I take a walk with my son to do local chores (going to the post office, etc.). The rain dance method sounds interesting, though!
When I dieted in the past, I drank lots of water. More recently, I found that drinking a glass of milk in the morning seemed to help as well. No soda or coffee for me.
My favorite guilty pleasure is Salt & Vinegar Chips. Otherwise I drink lots of water and try to eat as healthy as possible.
