Lets all do a little dance for Val and Four Foods on Friday! Great questions this week about everyone’s movie theatre snacking preference, and especially timely since there are so many great movies in the theatre right now!

1. What snacks do you eat at the movies? Do you buy them there or bring your own?

I never used to snack at the movies, but now I’m into movie theatre popcorn. I also usually smuggle in a bottle of water and some Sour Patch Kids.

2. What’s your favorite food movie, or movie that shows a lot of food?

Willy Wonka and Ratatouille immediately come to mind, but there’s also Chocolat, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Waitress, and Home Fries!

3. What food or meal do you wish was available at the movies and why?

You should be able to get a pint of ice cream at the theatre. When I watch a movie at home, I sit down with a carton of ice cream and a spoon, why not at the theatre?

4. What’s your most favorite way to make popcorn? Hot, cold, buttered, air, microwave, chocolate, caramel, you get it.

If I’m in Chicago, I’m buying my popcorn from Garrett. If I’m in Indianapolis, I’m buying my popcorn from Just Pop In . Chicago-style, please. If I’m stuck in Crown Point, Indiana, I’m making my popcorn in an air popper with a little bit of butter and salt.
