Oh hey, what's up?

Fashion Consultation with Tim Gunn

I think I’m pretty cute. Am I allowed to say that? I may be a bit on the pudgy side and a cardigan may be my biggest fashion must-have, but I stick to classic cuts and basic accessories and I know what trends to stay away from (hello and goodbye maxi-dresses).

That’s why I wasn’t too worried about what I was going to wear to Blogher…until I found out that Tim Gunn is going to be at Blogher…and he’s giving a fashion consultation to one Blogher attendee.

It’s one thing to have a scheduled fashion consultation with Tim Gunn – to prepare yourself for the inevitable fact that Tim will tell you in the nicest possible way that you’re a fashion dud – and it’s another thing completely to casually encounter Tim Gunn at Blogher and have him think that you’re the one that should have had the fashion consultation, because MY GOD do you need help.

So, in preparation of the remote possibility of casually encountering Tim Gunn and with the hope that I win the fashion consultation, here’s my planned get-ups for Blogher 2009…

Please note that I don’t look like the models in any of those clothes, so if you see me at BlogHer and I look nothing like what’s posted above, don’t be shocked.

See you there!

OMG… that dress from Old Navy has been my staple unemployment wear. I have it in five colors, and I have taken to calling them my house dresses. What ever am I going to be when I return to the real world in a week? How will I survive without my house dress?

Sorry to derail your post. I like your choices! I have to say that the Crocs are a VERY good decision. Your feet will still be tres happy after walking around all day.

    Hi Corrin!

Not only do I love your shoe choices, I adore that little 3-button topo for Friday night schmoozing. It’s soooo cute! Is this one of your Disney conventions? And to even be in the same building as Timm Gunn…oh, make my heart stop pitter-pattering! I LOVE HIM!!!! Your blogs are so much fun to read. You really are a very talented writer. I’m full of admiration.

Even though you don’t look like those models, you look dazzling at BlogHer, and I also think that your collection of dress is really nice and lovely. Hope to see more of these coming from you.
