Disney Celebrity Sightings

Whether I’m in Chicago, New York, or Kissimmee, I’m always on the lookout for celebrities. My closest celebrity encounter was when I was eight years old, and Florence Henderson handed me paper towels in the bathroom at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I’ve also seen Michael Jordan riding Big Splash Mountain and Paris Hilton dash to the front of the line for Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride (oh the irony).

As star-struck as I was having Mrs. Brady help me wash my hands, the most elusive celebrity to date has been Mickey Mouse. I’ve been to Disney World thirteen times over the past twenty-nine years, and have yet to have my photo taken with that cunning little rodent. Ariel, Donald Duck, and Buzz Lightyear have all been happy to pose with me, but Mickey must be one of those hot shot celebrities.

No matter what Mickey is up to, other celebrities seem to be hanging out in Kissimmee on a daily basis, thanks to all the attractions, dining, and shopping, so it’s the perfect place to catch a glimpse of the rich and famous. That’s why I entered the Kissimmee vacation contest for a chance get my camera ready and have a celebrity encounter!

Three weekend getaways for two and two week long vacations for four are up for grabs, so enter now! And let me know if you find that mouse!

There is at Epcot, but I only ever see that ugly little purple monster and his chubby Hawaiian friend there.

You need to go with me to Disney. I never leave without a visit with my boyfriend, Mickey. He’s at every park, you just have to know where and be willing to wait a bit, well a long time. He’s worth it though.
