I love a good designer imposter. When I saw these Jenni Kayne d’Orsay flats at Piperlime, I knew I had to have them. And then I saw the price and cried myself to sleep. Do you know how many days I have to work to earn $450?!  After I thoroughly depressed myself thinking about that, I dried my tears and set out to find a suitable substitute. Jenni’s little sister, if you will.

And I did. At ShoeMint. The Audrey flat is damn near exact in styling, but the color leans mustard instead of citron, which isn’t my jam, so I think I’ll go with the red ikat.

So what’s the consensus? Good knockoff? Would you settle for the mustard? or branch out?
