Changes are Coming!
I’m going to my parent’s house to search their basement (where everyone’s extra mattresses, end tables, and electronics end up) for a small television so that I can watch the inaguration at work next Tuesday. It’s the beginning of a new era. I can’t miss that!
President Elect Obama isn’t the only one Reinventing America. Regular people everywhere are advocating frugality, simplicity, and the importance of investing in education and healthcare, and they have an estimate of what their initivies will cost and how they will impact America.
Their platform is a very interesting read, with points everyone can agree on and other points that will seperate many. It’s a great conversation starter and a perfect jumping off point for people that want to reinvent America!

Hi Corrin! Today has been a fantastic, motivating, inspirational day! From the inauguaration speech, to the parade and seeing the First Couple dance to “At Last” at the Neighborhood Ball. Everything went well-even if 2 hours behind schedule. Today I watched C-SPAN, CNN, C-SPAN/CBC, C-SPAN/BBC, and ABC coverage and I’M tired! I’m glad the Fantastic 4 have more energy than me since their day isn’t anywhere near over!

And I may be in the minority, but I wish they would have picked a different first song to dance to. It’s so cliche, and just a promo for Beyonce’s current movie, which is bombing.

Hi Corrin! I guess I like the song “At Last” since I’m a fan of Etta James and always liked her singing it. Beyonce sounds so much like Etta that I do like the fact a new generation can appreciate the song (I’m an Old Fart of 48)
