Thanks for joining us for Cash, Money, Clothes! Where I shame myself into saving instead of spending by sharing my bad spending habits.
Joking. Kinda.
The entire time I was in college…and grad school…and when I first started working full time…it never dawned on me that I’d actually have to, you know, go to work every single day for pretty much the rest of my life. I don’t know what I thought I’d do with $150,000 worth of schooling if I didn’t work, but it didn’t feel like my fate. It still doesn’t. Which makes having an alarm set for 6 am for the past ten years a real bummer. But at least there’s being able to afford sushi to make up for it.

I know I’ve spent a crapton of money this week but I have no idea how much. I think this means that starting on Sunday, I need tot rack every cent I spent. Ugh.

Where did you get your $7 carwash? Cuz I also got one for the same price (on slaughter and S. 1st), but it was an automatic carwash, which always makes me feel guilty.

The NW corner of Manchaca & Brodie. It’s an automatic wash, but they hand scrub before and hand dry after. They did a really good job! Which is why I felt horrible for tipping them $5 in quarters.
