Cake Wrecks – with my name!

I’ve been a religious Cake Wrecks reader since the beginning. Since the Under Neat That cake.

I was about as excited as if I had seen my own cake as a Sunday Sweet when I saw a cake featuring my name! (Okay, my nick-name! The name everyone called me until college.) Spelled the exact.same.way. that I spell it!

Corrie G

To make it ever better, the Corrie referred to on the cake is another girl!

  1. haha! I love that site. There’s a Grand Theft Auto one for a 4-year old that still makes me almost pee my pants.

  2. I am the Corrie that sent that picture in. It’s a nickname for me too. I’ve never met another girl who spelled her name like that. Also, your site is awesome.

  4. Corrie – That’s awesome! Thanks for stopping by! Can I ask what Corrie is short for?

  5. Linda – I’m one of those weirdos that thinks the frosting on store-bought cakes is awesome, so I can relate to the cake loving. Haha.

  6. Constance Marie. My mom hated the nick name Connie, so she combined them to make “Corie.” Then she decided that two “r”s looks much better than one.

  7. That’s a great name! I’m obviously Corrin “shortened” to Corrie. I used to work with an older woman named Cornelia who was also a Corrie.
