I’ve worn some truly awful bridesmaid dresses in my day (a pale purple satin dress with spaghetti straps and sequin isn’t particularly flattering on a plus-sized girl) so when Mike and I eloped, all of my friends got off easy because I was prepared to choose the most hideous dresses I could find for them as retribution.
