Blizzard!
The roads were scary last night! I was at my parents house doing laundry all day, and by the time I was ready to pack up and head home, the afternoon thunderstorms had turned into a blizzard.
At one point, I had no idea where I was! I had turned onto the main road, driven a few blocks, and a gust of wind produced a complete white-out. I couldn’t see the front of my car, let alone what direction I was going in.
Luckily, everyone I passed had their hazards on and was taking it slow, so I made it home in one piece.

THAT is scary, Corrin!! I’m glad you’re okay.
My mom called me last weekend to warn me to be careful on the roads (she’s so sweet). I was really confused until she said there’s sleet in Washington (state). She and my dad were driving to work and couldn’t keep the ice from forming on their car’s windshield. I was worried and but had to hold back a laugh as I said, “Mom, it’s Vegas. There has to be water first for it to rain and the roads to be icy.”
The weather here is cold to me but hearing about the crazy weather around the world makes me grateful that it is dry and sunny. I sure miss the snow though.
