LOVED the video! I am a member of The Elephant Sanctuary and donate to them every year. They do an amazing job. They have an “Elecam” on their site. I’ve seen a bit about Tara’s relationship w/the dog but never saw a whole video- that was great!! Elephants are amazing and extremely smart and social. That is why circuses are no place for an elephant to do stupid and demeaning tricks. Anyway, that is another conversation. Fortunately there is the Elephant Sanctuary for the lucky ones. Lovely story on the video-

Hi Corrin! I love animals and also do not like to see animals in circus environments. It’s great seeing an elephant and dog friendship. It reminds me of Koko the gorilla and her little feline friend. I love cats and my sister and I have rescued cats.

Joan – My husband and I are both big suckers for animals. He’s desperate to rescue a dachshund once we get a house with a backyard.

I was just watching the news and I guess Disney came calling. If there is ANY way to make a dollar off of ANY animal story you can bet they will be there to mop up ALL the profits and do nothing in return to/for the animals themselves. I praise their decision to tell Disney to F-off. Thank you.

Dwayne – I’m a big fan of Disney, so I’m not sure I agree that they wouldn’t do anything for the animals. Their Animal Kingdom Park is amazing and between that and EPCOT, they do a lot of research and preservation.
