GIVEAWAY Betty Crocker Gift Basket
EDIT: Congratulations to our winner, Kathy Emerick!
Food is my life. No, seriously. I know a lot of people say that, but I work in food marking, representing some of the biggest names in the food industry so I literally talk about and write about food every single day. I also work with an extremely talented professional chef, food photographer, and food stylist, so I get to try out new recipes and be part of amazing food photoshoots on a regular basis.
The sad part is that I can’t cook. Okay, that’s not entirely true. I can whip up a decent meal when I have to, and I make awesome cupcakes, but I’m no Betty Crocker.
That’s why I was so excited to hear about The Mixer, a series of online cooking and baking classes live from the Betty Crocker Kitchens. For six weeks, The Mixer will feature recipe demos, cooking tips and techniques, and a whole lot more.
- Week 1: Kickin Chicken Recipes
- Week 2: Pastabilities
- Week 3: Greens with Envy
- Week 4: Viva Tortilla
- Week 5: Wok it Out
- Week 6: Small Bites – Big Flavors
Each class is held multiple times during the week, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to tune in to the live sessions, and if you can’t make the live sessions you can go back and watch all the classes on demand!
- Tuesdays at 7 pm ET
- Wednesdays at 9 pm ET
- Saturdays at 4 pm ET
To prepare for the first class, which is Tuesday, April 7, you’re going to need a few necessities, and Betty Crocker has been kind enough to supply a gift basket containing a Betty Crocker mixing spoon, spatula, measuring spoons and cups, whisk, liquid measuring cup and Betty Crocker Magazine to one lucky winner!

There’s only two ways to enter, but please remember to leave a comment for each!
- Leave a comment telling me which The Mixer class you’re most excited about.
- Tweet the following:
@CorrinRenee Enter to win a Better Crocker Gift Basket and whip up delicious meals at home! http://tinyurl.com/ccvu9j
There’s not much fine print but here goes…Entries will be accepted until midnight, April 18, 2009. Winners will be chosen at random and announced on April 19, 2009. Winners will be contacted by email and/or Twitter and will have 48 hours to respond. Please use your real first name and a valid email address when entering. I am not responsible for incorrect contact information.
