I don’t know if there’s a way to say this without being melodramatic or downright obnoxious, so I’m just going to say it…
That’s right. This is my last blog post. And that’s a picture of me as I write my last blog post.
Blogging is such a big part of my life (I’ve been doing it for 15 years!) that it took me months to come to this decision. It really came down to blogging not being an outlet that makes me happy any more. Sure, I love bits and pieces of it, but the expectations and competition dull the feelings of creativity and community that I once had and I don’t know if there’s a way to get them back. It’s like I’ve been running in a race that I don’t even care to win.
Don’t worry. You can still find me on Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat (👻CorrinFoster).
Thanks for 15 years of love. 💕
Disclaimer: I reserve the right to continue blogging like this never happened if/when the mood ever strikes again. 😘
I’ve been buying this JCrew panama hat for the last few seasons at $60 a pop, and while I love it, it lasts about one trip to the beach. This year, I’ve switched to this Old Navy panama hat which is only $15. I used one to make my pom pom panama!
Follow along with the Gilmore Guys as veteran fan Kevin T. Porter and newcomer Demi Adejuyigbe discuss my beloved Gilmore Girls episode by episode. I’m such a fan of these two that I even made it to a live show.
The Heart is hit or miss for me, but I give each episode a chance because when it’s good, it’s really good. Potential NSFW warning.
New York Magazine’s Sex Lives talks about everything you ever wanted to know about sex but were afraid to ask. Or Google. Or even think about too hard. I love how non-judgemental the hosts are and the experts they bring in to add facts and background. Definite NSFW warning.
If you’ve ever looked someone up and down and then called bullshit, then you’re giving them The Read. No one is hip-hop or pop culture is safe from hosts Kid Fury and Crissle.
I only made it a couple of chapters into Three-Martini Lunch by Suzanne Rindell (who also wrote The Other Typist) before being turned off by the Mad Men for publishing vibe. I’m planning on having a wild Friday night and stay up late reading The Nest by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney.
