American Idol – Attitude and Faux Pas
Ryan Seacrest is on a roll this week. First he gets snubbed by Brad & Angelina at the Golden Globes, then he offers a congratulatory high-five to a blind guy on American Idol. I, of course, had to immediately Twitter the faux pas.
But at least Ryan Seacrest doesn’t have an attitude problem, unlike Kara Whatshername. Seriously, it was her first episode as a judge and she’s already rolling her eyes, making rude comments, and acting offended that people can’t pronounce her difficult name? I don’t know who she thinks she is…hell, half of us don’t even know who she is!

So the biggest annoyance (IMO) of the night was the girl in the bikini. Why give people like that publicity? She had an attitude problem, she was a bad singer, and once she puts some clothes on Simon is going to hate her. It was like Fox was saying, “Look America! We endorse sluts!”
The blind guy was really good. He has a good story. There were several that I think are going to be good – like that 16 year old girl who volunteered in senior homes. She was good. And the chick with all the tattoos.
Anyway, I’m glad AI is back.

Ingrid – Thanks for stopping to comment. I saw the clip on TV again last night, and I still watch it with my mouth wide open. It’s hysterical. I actually feel bad for Ryan because it’s such a unconscious action, to give someone a high-five, you know he thought “oh shit” as soon as he put his hand in the air. Haha.
