I have a thing for hats. I usually only sport them in the winter, but occasionally I’ll buy a summer hat and it will sit in my closet because I don’t have the strength of character to chance public humiliation.

This summer, there are lots of great hats (Hello, Eugina Kim for Target!) and since we’ve moved to a much warmer climate, I see women wearing hats all the time which gives me inspiration!

Maybe this will be the summer I get the nerve to strut my stuff in a stylish hat!

I’ve had my conference ticket since last August. I booked my airfare months ago. I’ve reserved the couch at my sister’s Manhattan apartment.

The only thing I don’t have for Blogher ’10 is a sponsor!

I’ll be attending five days of events, workshops, and networking with hundreds of influential female bloggers and social media enthusiasts who are open and receptive to new products and services.
