My ten year high school reunion was this summer, and even though I wasn’t an enthusiastic participant, I did wonder what happened to a few of my classmates and tried to look them up online.

The search engines didn’t turn up any leads and most of the people search sites I found wanted a credit card number, and I may be curious about what happened to Kristen Burdan, but I’m not willing to give out my credit card number of find out where she’s at now.

One people search service that didn’t require any form of payment and gave me valid information on my classmates was www.lookupwho.com. All you need is a last name and state of residence and the search scours its database to supply available address and telephone information.

Next time you’re looking for someone, give www.lookupwho.com a try. It’s FREE, what do you have to lose!

I ventured to County Line Orchard with my mom, Madeline, Katharine, and Jack this afternoon and being outnumbered by people under three feet tall is exhausting! Plus, picking apples when it’s 80 degrees and sunny isn’t exactly the ideal way to ring in the fall equinox.

I suggested that we set a limit on the number of apples everyone picks, but that number never materialized. By the time we had made it to the “weigh and pay” every variety of apple had been tasted and picked and we went home with 12 lbs. of apples. Looks like we’ll all get our fiber this week!

Along with 12 lbs. of apples, we also went home with pumpkins, kettle corn, pumpkin spice and apple cider donuts, apple butter, cookies, candy, and NO photos of me picking apples! Which is very disappointing considering my apple orchard enthusiasm, and especially since Jack told me that I “don’t look fat today.” What a compliment!

I’ve been patiently waiting for Britney Spears’ to release her new single, and was terribly disappointed when I finally heard Womanizer on the radio this morning. I know Britney’s music isn’t particularly inspired, but Womanizer is a snoozer. She may be reduced to selling Santa Fe dehumidifiers, because this new single is no Gimme More. Maybe Britney needs to put her hand back in the crazy to come out with a good single!

Nothing this cool ever happens when I ride public transportation. Wouldn’t it be nice commuting to your jobs in Philadelphia or NYC or Chicago and having some entertainment along the way? And they are so courteous, wishing everyone a good day and not kicking anyone in the head!
