Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival Button

I’m a little frantic this morning, because I completely forgot that it is time for the Bloggy Giveaways! It is so much fun to bop around from blog to blog for a chance to win great prizes, that I can’t believe I didn’t have the day marked, circled, and highlighted on my calendar!

I’m so ill-prepared. So, what to give away? Cash? A gift card? A purse?

How about jewelry! Something like this Tiffany’s 1837 sterling silver ring? Yes, I believe that will do.

Leave a comment with your ring size and I will pick a random winner Friday, August 1st!

Rules and regulations: Only one entry per person (I keep an eye on IP addresses, so no sneaking in multiple entries), please use your real first name when entering, US residents only, item will ship directly from Tiffany’s to your home address.

Sorry, Mrs. Duggar. Livia Ionce beat you to the punch. She gave birth to her 18th child in Canada this week. Just like the Duggar’s, the Ionce’s let God guide their child-rearing, and their 18 children range in age from newborn to 23-years.

Babies are dripping out of these women like Moen faucets, I swear!

The site Cake Wrecks chronicles professional cakes gone wrong, and I am leaned up on the office furniture in amazement at some of these bakery creations.

This one from Waltham is my favorite. Someone obviously wrote a note to the cake decorator that said “‘Best Wishes Suzanne’ and underneath that ‘We Will Miss You’” and the decorator took that very very literally.

While browsing the pharmacy aisles during our weekly trip to Costco, we ended up with a huge bottle of green tea supplements in our cart, promising a speedy metabolism and weight-loss. It’s not as effective as Leptovox, but it was cheap, natural, and will hopefully get me back into my jean capris before we head to Disney in October.

Mike and I have been tossing around the idea of buying new bikes. They aren’t going to eliminate the need for car insurance, but it would be nice to get out and exercise, and they would come in handy once we move to a more downtown friendly neighborhood.

Mike refuses to ride a Huffy and I refuse to spend a thousand dollars on a Trek, so what kind of bike do you ride? Is there a brand you would recommend?
