Self Portrait Sunday

I know that my Self Portrait Sunday contribution isn’t as impressive as an elephant’s self portrait, but did that elephant win $90 at the horse track last night? I don’t think so!
I learned how to place exacta, trifecta, and superfecta bets last night, and at this rate, I’ll have enough winnings for a peaceful weekend in Branson hotels pretty soon! There has to be a horse track in Branson, right?

Wow– $90! You are becoming a pro. If you ever come to my neck of the woods, we’ll have to take you out to Lone Star Park. My dad taught me how to do “box” bets, and we usually do good with those. Pretty soon I may need to be taking tips from you!
Sadly there is no horse track in Branson! There are a lot of go-kart tracks, maybe you can wager on those.
The extent of my understanding of betting at the horse track is “ooh who has the prettiest name?” LOL
Laurie - I’m intrigued with box bets! I’m really becoming addicted to going to the track!
Jennifer - don’t let me fool you, I still default to picking the horse with the longest neck when the stats don’t make sense.
