The Searing Pain of an Ear Infection

If Natalie Dee were any more relevant to my daily life I would swear that she lived in the spare bedroom.
Not only did I have to call in sick Friday with the flu, I had to call in sick today because of an ear infection.
I blew my nose yesterday afternoon, which plugged my ear, and from there it was a blur of symptoms which escalated to feeling like someone was jamming an ice pick into my ear over and over again. Mike over-medicated me and I got some much needed sleep from 6:30 last night until 5:30 this morning.
Hopefully I can get a doctors appointment this afternoon and start feeling better before I get fired.
Aww… feel better! Your new office is too cute btw. I am working on sending you a little “office warming” gift. Knowing how I am lately, you will see it included in your birthday package. :\
