Bidi Bidi Boom Boom

One of my favorite movies is Selena, and I cannot explain why. I had no clue who she was before the Jennifer Lopez movie and had never heard any of her music but now I can sing Bidi Bidi Boom Boom!

If I’m casually flipping through the channels and it’s playing on Lifetime I absolutely cannot pass up Jennifer Lopez as Selena. I’m hoping that one of the cable channels will be airing the movie tonight in memory of Selena, who was shot and killed 13 years ago today.

Captain Nipper

of=50,590,442Precious little Oliver nipped at the neighbor last night…and drew blood. That’s right, the old Polish lady next door bent down to pet him, he started barking like a mad man, and he nipped her knuckle. No worries, she had an alcohol pad handy in her pleather purse and isn’t going to sue us.

I’ve already emailed three local dog training facilities and Oliver’s life will be getting a lot more disciplined very soon.

Self Portrait Sunday

I know that my Self Portrait Sunday contribution isn’t as impressive as an elephant’s self portrait, but did that elephant win $90 at the horse track last night? I don’t think so!

I learned how to place exacta, trifecta, and superfecta bets last night, and at this rate, I’ll have enough winnings for a peaceful weekend in Branson hotels pretty soon! There has to be a horse track in Branson, right?

Elephant Paints a Self Portrait

I’m a big softie when it comes to animals, and I think that elephant is the most precious thing ever, and if I could find one of her paintings for sale, I’d probably buy it. I think it would be the most amazing thing to take a seat on the patio furniture and watch an elephant paint you a picture, especially when the elephant can paint better than I can!

Ode to Oysters

If I could, I’d eat seafood every day. Specifically, Gulf oysters. It might be because I can’t get over how Outstanding and Yummy fresh gulf oysters are, or maybe I’m eating as many I can to find something rare and beautiful. Either way, it’s always a Succulent and Tantilizing experience dining on Erotic gulf oysters that are Really good!

Woman leaves babies in tub while she watches AI

A woman in Indianapolis who left her two young daughters in the bathtub while watching American Idol says that the bathtub incident is exaggerated, and not a single person in their right mind is going to believe her. Especially since her 3 year old daughter has been in the hospital since February 28th from nearly drowning.

First off, she’s 25 years old and a single mother with four kids (age 7, 5, 3, 1). If you’re not responsible enough to realize that babies need to be watched when they are in the bathtub, you need to keep your knees together.

Secondly, the two oldest daughters told police that Mommy Dearest was watching AI with them while the two little ones were in the bath and they have absolutely no reason to make that up.

And lastly, when contacted for her side of the story, the woman said “If I’m not getting paid for my story, I’m not about to reveal my life to you all.” Not to worry, because everyone is going to find out her life story when they take her children away and charge her with child neglect.

Digital Photo Frames

One of the best wedding presents Mike and I received was a digital photo frame from my sister. It is so much fun to take all of our vacation pictures, family photos, and weekend pics and instantly display them in our home.

Digital photo frames are selling like hot cakes, and Digital Frames Direct has more variety than you can shake a stick at. Not to mention reviews and full product details to help you choose the perfect digital frame for all your favorite photos.

I even got a great idea for a corporate gifts while browsing their website. How fun would it be to send a digital picture frame with all of my company’s food photography to interested clients to show them just what we can do!

Sex with a Picnic Table

Bizarre news stories are really catching my eye this week. First it was the new sphincter, then the pregnant man and the drunk in the trash truck, and now it’s a man caught having sex with a picnic table!

genthumbI know most of us don’t want to hear specifics, but I’d love to find out how he pulled off sex with a picnic table…not once, but multiple times. The man freely admitted having sex with a picnic table and another table inside his house. All caught on tape, to boot!

What a slut. That picnic table is going to be so pissed when it finds out he was two-timing with a kitchen table. Lord only knows how many coffee tables and bedside stands are out there that haven’t come forward yet!

Is a watch a work expense?

SFP801The hardest part of my new job is getting used keeping track of every minute of my day in order to bill clients accurately. I have to note when meetings start and end, times of phone calls, and minutes spent replying to emails, which is very difficult since I never wear a watch!

That’s all going to change next paycheck when I buy a new Seiko watch and stop getting clients price breaks by just approximating my time. I’d like a heftier watch with a little bit of bulk, and since black is all the rage in watches, I’d love to go with a silver band to match all my jewelry but a black face to be a little trendier.

BlueDial.com has just the watch for under $100. I wonder if a new watch is reimbursable?
